Wimboldsley (Middlewich)

  • Wimboldsley was a township in Middlewich Parish, Northwich Hundred (SJ 6863), which became a civil parish in 1866.
  • In 1892 the whole of Occlestone was added to Wimboldsley.
  • The population was 106 in 1801, 86 in 1851, 183 in 1901, and 189 in 1951.
