Occlestone (Middlewich)

  • Occlestone was a township in Middlewich Parish, Northwich Hundred (SJ 6962), , which became a civil parish in 1866.
  • In 1892 the whole of Occlestone was added to Wimboldsley civil parish.
  • Including the hamlets of Lea Head and Occlestone Green
  • The population was 85 in 1801 and 117 in 1851.
