• Daresbury was a township and chapelry in Runcorn Parish, Bucklow Hundred (SJ 5881), which became a civil parish in 1866.
• In 1936 part of Daresbury was transferred to Runcorn, and the whole of Keckwick and Newton by Daresbury were added to Daresbury.
• Including the hamlet of Daresbury Delph.
• The population was 134 in 1801, 157 in 1851, 153 in 1901, and 235 in 1951.

Registers of Baptisms 1617–1951, Marriages 1617–1975 and Burials 1617–1941 have been deposited at the Cheshire Record Office.
