- Antrobus was a township in Great Budworth parish, Bucklow Hundred (SJ 6580), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- In 1936 the whole of Crowley and Seven Oaks civil parishes were added to Antrobus.
- Including the hamlets of Arley, Grandires Green, and Pole Lane Ends.
- The population was 351 in 1801, 489 in 1851, 373 in 1901, and 726 in 1951.

- Antrobus, St. Mark (C of E). Built in 1848 as the parish church for Antrobus and Seven Oaks. Registers of Baptisms 1848–1996, Marriages 1848–1983 and Burials 1849–1974 have been deposited at the Cheshire Record Office.
- Antrobus, Methodist Chapel (Wesleyan). rebuilt in 1935.
